MEET OUR HORSES

Ripley is a 25-year-old Belgian/Quarter Horse cross standing at an impressive 17hh. Before joining our barn, Ripley spent many years working as a ranch horse out in Wyoming, and his calm, steady personality reflects all of that experience. Nothing seems to faze this gentle giant — he is incredibly patient, kind-hearted, and one of the sweetest horses you’ll ever meet.

 

Ripley is truly the definition of a people pleaser. He loves having a job and always tries his hardest to make his rider happy. Whether he’s helping a beginner gain confidence in the saddle or taking riders out on the trails, he is the most willing and giving horse who takes great care of his people. His quiet, dependable nature makes him a favorite among students and visitors alike.

 

Now that Ripley is older and retired from his hardworking ranch days, he spends his time enjoying the slower pace of life here in sunny Florida. He loves relaxing in the paddock, soaking up the lovely Florida weather, and going on peaceful walks while getting plenty of love and attention from visitors. Even in retirement, Ripley still enjoys being around people and continues to win hearts everywhere he goes. His sweet personality, calm demeanor, and trustworthy attitude make him one of those once-in-a-lifetime horses that everyone falls in love with.

Bacardi is a beautiful 6-year-old Thoroughbred standing at 16.2hh with a big personality and an even bigger heart. While she may look elegant and athletic, she is truly a sweetheart who loves attention from her humans. One of her favorite things is snuggling up for scratches — she’ll happily rest her big head on your shoulder while soaking up all the love and affection she can get.

In the paddock, Bacardi likes to remind everyone that she’s the boss, especially the boy horses! She has a playful and sassy side that keeps everyone entertained, but she’s also incredibly kind and enjoys spending time with people of all ages. Her curious personality and loving nature make her a barn favorite. Whether she’s greeting visitors at the fence, soaking up attention during grooming time, or strutting around like she owns the place, Bacardi always brings smiles wherever she goes.
